Our test car was able to go from 0 to 60 mph in only 5.4 seconds and reached the quarter-mile in 13.9 seconds at 101 mph. Plus, our test model weighed 2843 pounds which is just slightly heavier than the last BRZ but quite light by today’s sports-car standards.
After spending time driving the car, we found that it offered great steering feedback, excellent cornering ability, and the potential for some fun drifting. It rides a little on the firm side, but this actually makes it more playful overall. Every model comes with a limited-slip rear differential as standard equipment, while the Premium model has 17-inch wheels and the higher-performance Limited has 18-inch wheels.

According to EPA estimates, the most fuel-efficient BRZ is the automatic with 25 mpg combined, 21 mpg in the city, and 30 mpg on the highway. The BRZ features a driver-centric design with 2+2 seating and modern technology inside the cabin. The 7.0 inch digital gauge cluster is designed to make the tachometer the main attraction, switching from a linear graph in Track drive mode.
The BRZ coupe features heavily bolstered front seats with red accents to give passengers a secure and comfortable ride during hard cornering. Additionally, the low seating position and thin front roof pillars promote excellent forward visibility. The sizable cargo area is practical for everyday use or storing four tires (for track days) with the rear seats folded.
